In a tragic incident, a child died after falling in a water tank in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Saturday (May 4).
According to the report, the mishap happened when an 8-year-old child fell in a water tank situated in Eidgah in Udhampur.
The child along with his parents went to the Eidgah, but unfortunately he passed away after falling in the water tank, the water tank was not covered properly.
When the child was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, the doctors in the medical facility pronounced him as brought dead.
The victims are residents of Ramban district and were living in Udhampur in a rented accommodation.
The deceased child has been identified as Faizan.
