Chairman DDC Rajouri inaugurates 12 Mtr span Patti Nalla bridge on Treru-Khawas road

Chairman District Development Council Rajouri, Chowdhury Naseem Liaqat today inaugurated newly constructed 12 meter span Patti Nalla bridge on Treru-Khawas road in presence of Shamim Begum, Member DDC Moughla and Surekha Devi, BDC Chairperson Moughla.
While interacting with the locals, the Chairman congratulated them on completion of the much needed bridge, which will ease surface connectivity to the area to a great extent.
The Chairman said that the Government was committed towards providing the best possible relief to the general public in terms of connectivity and several measures were underway in this regard.
He also said that a number of connectivity projects are being executed by different departments in the district and dedicated efforts are in place to complete these projects within the stipulated time frame.
The Chairman also chaired a meeting of the concerned officers of the RDD and PRIs to review the progress on developmental works of the RDD sector.
He asked the concerned officers to work with added zeal and in a mission mode to meet the expectations of the rural masses.
He also asked for close monitoring of the works for maintaining quality and adherence to timelines and made it clear that no laxity shall be tolerated in this regard.
Later, the DDC Chairman also inspected the building and working of PHC Khawas and some other works executed under MGNREGA and district Capex in the Khawas area.
