The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday conducted multiple searches in Kolkata in West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) scam which led to the recovery of Rs 50 lakh (approx) and 1.5 kilograms of gold.
The probe agency also shortlisted around 1,500 candidates and seized a property document during the raid. The property document was allegedly purchased by the then advisor of West Bengal Central School Service Commission and his wife in the name of another person.
