Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma presented an award to Gulistan News during the Nigeen Tourist Traders Association’s 8th Annual General Meeting in Srinagar. The award was received by Gulistan News Bureau Head Kashmir Saleem Wani, in recognition of the channel’s impactful programs and campaigns, including its anti-drug initiatives and the popular talk show “Open Talk.”
The event was attended by prominent figures, including MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar and other distinguished citizens.
On this occasion, the exemplary leadership of Gulistan News Executive Editor, Ishfaq Gowhar was also acknowledged. He was appreciated for his continuous efforts in steering the channel to new heights and for his dedication to quality journalism.
