Jammu, April 9: The Budget Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly concluded on Wednesday after weeks of heated debates, adjournments, and disruptions. However, notable was the absence of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah from the House on the final day.

While the session ended amid continued uproar over various issues, including the Waqf Act and domicile concerns, CM Omar Abdullah’s absence drew attention from opposition benches, with some members questioning the lack of closure remarks from the head of the government.

Despite the disruptions, the Speaker declared the session concluded, bringing an end to the legislative business that began on March 3, 2025.
