BSF shoots down Pak drone along international border in Punjab’s Amritsar

The Border Security Force (BSF) shot down a Pakistani drone along the India-Pakistan International Border in Punjab’s Amritsar on Friday.

The ‘quad copter’ drone was shot down at around 7.45 pm after the BSF troops heard the sound of a suspected flying object coming from the Pakistan side to the Indian side.According to an official statement, “On November 25 at about 19:45 hrs, Border Security Force troops deployed at the border heard the buzzing sound of a suspected drone entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area falling near the village of Daoke in Amritsar district. As per the drill, the troops tried to intercept the suspected drone by firing. A bullet hit the drone and it fell on the ground.”

During the search, the troops recovered one quad copter DJI Matrice 300 RTK (Chinese drone) in a partially damaged condition in the farming field ahead of the border fencing near Daoke village.
