BSF Opens Fire on Pakistani Drone near J-K’s Samba along International Border

Official sources reported that a search operation was initiated on Wednesday following the Border Security Force’s (BSF) firing at a Pakistani drone near the International Border in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

At approximately 2:30 am, the BSF troops who were stationed at the Chamliyal border post in the Ramgarh sub-sector detected a blinking red light in the sky, which they presumed to be a drone from Pakistan. Subsequently, they fired more than twenty-four rounds to bring it down.

Sources stated that the suspected drone was able to return to the Pakistani side, and as a precautionary measure, an extensive search operation was conducted in the neighboring villages adjacent to the Chamliyal, Sapwal, and Narayanpur border outposts to prevent any potential dropping of weapons or narcotics.

Furthermore, the BSF personnel, who were deployed in large numbers for the operation, are also conducting searches in the open fields of Dug, Channi-Sapwal, and Asampur villages.
