A boy died after being struck by a vehicle in the Assar area of Doda district on Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The victim Bhanu Pratap son of Bachan Singh of Ganota area of Assar was hit by a vehicle ‘JK170480’ in Baggar on the highway and died on the spot.
Bhanu’s body was taken to CHC Assar for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
