Bovine smuggling effort made unsuccessful in Jammu

Jammu: The police this morning made unsuccessful a bovine smuggling effort in Kathua district.
According to the report, the incident came to when Hiranagar police on suspicion stopped a truck bearing registration number ‘JK02AU9918’ in Hiranagar and during checking they recovered several cattle concealed behind drums of tarcoal.
The police rescued several bovines from the truck and registered a case at Hiranagar Police station.
