The Udhampur Police rescued 13 Bovines and seized vehicle used for bovine smuggling in Tikri area of the district.
A Police team of Police Post Tikri led by Insp. Nishad Ahmed and assisted by PSI Sahil Singh foiled bovine smuggling bid in which 13 bovines were rescued and a vehicles (truck) bearing registration number JK02AF 7527 seized from Tikri nakapoint. Accused person namely Talib Hussain S/O Showkat Ali R/O Larnoo, Anantnag got arrested on spot.
In this regard, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal and further investigation of the case is underway.
