The Pouni Chak police on Tuesday (April 9) foiled bovine smuggling bid smuggling and rescued six bovines, seized a vehicle and nabbed an accused arrested by Police Post Pounichak under the Operation Kamdhenu.
On April 9, a team of Police post Pouni Chak headed by PSI Vijay kumar IC PP Pounichak has foiled bovine smuggling bid in which 06 bovines were rescued and 01 vehicles Mahendra bolero pickup bearing registration number JK02BM-2292 seized from Ranjitpura near SOS and accused drivers namely Mohd Farid @ Billu S/O Mohd Shafi age 27 years R/O upper Belicharana arrested on spot .
In this regard FIR has been registered under relevant sections of law.
