Vikrant Massey’s ‘12th Fail’ has been receiving love and success from all quarters. Boman Irani was extremely impressed and recently showered praises on Vikrant Massey and director Vidhu Vinod Chopra for their work in the movie 12th Fail. The veteran actor wrote a note on Instagram praising the Massey’s exceptional work on Thursday.
The Munna Bhai MBBS actor expressed that this level of preparation goes beyond external efforts and can only be lived through a genuine belief, asserting that one doesn’t perform for the camera but needs to be in front of it.
An excerpt from the elaborate note read, “You got it right Massey.. The truth is, the real preparation happens inside the soul of the character… You can’t rehearse for that, can you ? You can only live it through a belief that goes way beyond your stupendous external preparation for the role. You don’t have to do it for the camera. You have to be in front of the camera.
The caption to Boman’s post acknowledged that the former Balika Vadhu alum might have heard such praise before but reiterated that hearing it again wouldn’t hurt.
He added that his resolve, humanity, belief system, passion, fears, and strengths couldn’t have been rehearsed. They come from living with a belief that goes beyond just preparing for the role. “You don’t have to DO for the camera, you have to BE in front of the camera. That is exactly what happened. More power to you, Massey; you have inspired many young actors, me included,” read the note.
