Amidst the chanting of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Neelam Bai Amar Rahe’ the villagers of Akhnoor’s Jourian village in Jammu today received their martyred son namely Havildar Neelam Singh, who laid his life making the supreme sacrifice for the country in the terror attack in Kandi area of Rajouri yesterday.
On the arrival of Shaheed Neelam Singh’s body in Akhnoor in an army vehicle- the villagers and school children were seen standing on both sides of the road mourning and chanting “Neelam Bai Amar Rahe” “Jab Tak Suraj-Chand Rahega Neelam Bai Ka Naam Rahega” along with family members showering flowers on the martyr’s vehicle.
