Body of man was fished out from river Jhelum. Police said the man was on board an e-rickshaw when it plunged into river Jhelum near Lasjan bridge three days ago.
An official told that after hectic efforts, the body was fished out by rescuers. The deceased was identified as Mukhtar Ahmad Sheikh of Batamaloo locality.
On Saturday, the e-rickshaw plunged into the river following which a search and rescue operation was launched.
