Aman Gupta the CEO and co-founder of BoAT, was among the young entrepreneurs who received an invitation as an official delegation during the recent visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Paris, France.
Gupta stated that during the visit, he had the opportunity to speak about ‘Make in India’ and Indian start-ups at the Indo-French CEO Forum on Friday. He also mentioned that he met with French ministers, bureaucrats, and corporates, and attended a state dinner at Louvre. Gupta praised Prime Minister Modi, highlighting that it was significant to see new age entrepreneurs like himself being invited on such visits, alongside second and third-generation entrepreneurs. This recognition reflects the support given to the entrepreneurial spirit in India.
As part of the French National Day celebrations, Gupta also witnessed the Bastille Day Parade where Modi was invited as the Guest of Honour. He expressed his joy and pride as the Indian Contingent played ‘Sare Jahaan Se Acha’ during the parade. Gupta believes that these experiences reinforce the notion that India is becoming stronger and more prominent on the world stage. He expressed hope for the nation’s future and urged everyone to work together to build an even stronger India in the coming years.
During the India-France CEO Forum, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the crucial roles played by business leaders in deepening the partnership between India and France. He congratulated them on Bastille Day and acknowledged their immense contributions to the strategic partnership that has lasted for 25 years. The forum took place after Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron addressed a joint press conference at Elysee Palace.
In addition, Modi presented a sandalwood sitar to the French President and offered gifts to the French First Lady, the Prime Minister of France, the President of the French Senate, and the President of the French National Assembly.
