Block Diwas held at Halqa Panchayat Khulbugh of Block Parnewa

The Deputy Commissioner Budgam, S F Hamid today chaired public grievances redressal camp at Panchayat Halqa Kulbugh of Block Parnewa of Sub-Division Khanshaib
The programme was held at Public park khulbugh , where PRIs, respected elders and local youth delegations from adjacent villages like wager, parnewa, hawoorah, kremashore, Aram pora, huden, Nuner and others raised their demands with the DC.
While addressing the inhabitants, the DC said , Panchayats are the basic unit of 3- tier democratic system . The basic plan and development starts only from this unit.
The DC gave them patients hearing and assured all their genuine demands shall be addressed on priority.
At the outset, the DC instructed officers to ensure development of paths, boundary walls and additional accompanied works at local government schools to ensure better educational facilities to students.
The DC appreciated local panchayat and other residents for maintaining sanitation and cleanliness across Panchayat Halqa but still urges them to maintain cleanliness.
DC directed BDO and Panchayat body of concerned block to cleanliness of whole village on fast track basis and proper segregation on war footing basis.
He instructed PDD authorities to ensure execution of HT, LT improvement works on priority
The DC directed officers of Employment department to provide list of all local youth which are unemployed so that they are actively involved in activities of skill development.
He also took assessment of transport, healthcare and drinking water facilities and asserted that concerned shall ensure improvement and better facilities to locals.
Stressing on awareness generation about government schemes, the DC also urged locals to register under welfare and amnesty schemes to take maximum benefits under these schemes.
The DC also took assessment of facilities related to Sheep and Animal husbandry, Horticulture, Agriculture and other allied sectors being provided to locals at these centres.He said, Sheep husbandry department will work on weekly basis in every village so that maximum benefits are reared by the inhabitants of village .
Among others, ADDC Budgam Dr Akramullah Tak, SDM Khanshaib, CEO, CMO, Executive Engineers from all Engineering Wings and other officers of the District administration were also present on the occasion.
