Black bear captured in south Kashmir’s Churat village

On Sunday, a black bear was captured alive by a Wildlife Department in kund mord area of churat village in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Reports suggest that on receiving information about the black bear along human habitation, a team of experts from Control Room Dooru led by WildLife incharge Mushtaq ahmad reached on spot to tranquilize the black bear.

A trap was laid in the area and the bear was finally captured without causing any injury to anyone. The bear has been shifted to natural habtation .

Meanwhile, the locals of the area applauded the wildlife department for their efforts, especially wildlife warden south Suhail ahmad wagay, Range officer bringi Fayaz ahmad wani and incharge control room Dooru Mushtaq Ahmed Mir for immediate redressal of the problem
