A black bear was captured alive by a Wildlife Department team in Andoo Shangus area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday Morning.
On receiving information about the black bear along human habitation, a team of experts from range office Achabal was sent to the area to trannqualise the black bear. A trap was laid in the area and the bear was finally captured without causing any injury to anyone.
The bear has been been shifted to Daksum Wildlife Sanctuary.
