BJP’s Ashok Kaul Visits Karnah Border, Calls for Open Talks on Sharda Mandir Corridor

Karnah, Jammu and Kashmir, July 20, 2024 – Ashok Kaul, the General Secretary of BJP for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, made a significant visit to the border area of Karnah today. During his visit, he toured the historic Sharda Peeth and the Gurdwara in Teetwal, located near the Line of Control along the River Kishanganga.

Kaul performed pooja at the Sharda Mandir and later addressed the media, where he emphasized the need for improved relations and dialogue with Pakistan. “I request our BJP government to initiate talks with Pakistan to open a corridor towards the Sharda Mandir,” Kaul stated, highlighting the cultural and religious importance of the site and advocating for increased accessibility for devotees.
