Malik emphasizes that “Anupama” is particularly close to reality, which is why it is very close to her heart. The show focuses on a woman’s journey and women’s empowerment, which has captured the attention of the audience. In contrast, she criticizes shows like “Nagin” for their lack of realism.
She adds, shows like Anupama and Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai have created history and set role models for women.
