Srinagar, Sep 14 : Another unidentified terrorist was killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Chak Tapper area of North Kashmir Barmaulla district taking the number of slain terrorists to two, officials said Saturday.
A senior police officer said that second terrorist has been killed by security forces in Chak Tapper, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, one terrorist was killed in the initial gunfight. The encounter started in the area late on Friday night when the joint teams of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot.
They were however fired upon by the hiding terrorists triggering off a gunfight.
