Baramulla, June 06 : As part of its ongoing efforts to promote community engagement and support underprivileged sections of society, Baramulla Police today organized a Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Dar-ul-Uloom Muhsinat, an orphanage for girls in Singhpora Pattan.
The event was led by Shri Shahjahan Chowdhury-KPS, SDPO Pattan, along with Inspector Mohd Saleem, SHO Pattan, who visited the orphanage and interacted with the children. On this occasion, the officers distributed various essential items including matting, sanitary products, shoes, study tables, and sports kits among the orphaned girls.
As a gesture of goodwill and community bonding, Eid greetings and best wishes were extended to the inmates and staff of the institution. The officers also shared words of encouragement, assuring continued support from the police department.
Baramulla Police reiterates its commitment not only to maintaining peace and order but also to playing an active role in community welfare and development. Such initiatives help foster mutual trust and strengthen the connection between the police and the public.
