Bangladesh vs India: Fans furious after Kuldeep Yadav misses 2nd Test – Horrific decision by KL Rahul and Rahul Dravid

Kuldeep Yadav was one of the key reasons why India won the opening Test against Bangladesh by 188 runs at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

Kuldeep picked up as many as nine wickets in the match and helped India take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The left-arm wrist spinner also picked up his third five-wicket haul in Tests as India bowled Bangladesh out for 150 in their first innings.
However, Kuldeep didn’t find a place in the playing XI in the second Test against the Tigers at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Instead, India opted for fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat in the playing XI.

“We made one change – Kuldeep misses out and Unadkat comes in. Unfortunate decision for us to leave him (Kuldeep) out but it’s an opportunity for Unadkat,” Rahul was quoted as saying during the toss.

Kuldeep made his Test debut way back in 2017 against Australia, but has been in and out of the Indian Test team for quite some time.

Rahul, who was earlier unsure of playing in the Dhaka Test, hoped for the pitch to be good for batting and provide help to both pacers and spinners.
