Kangaroos avenged the defeat against India by striking back. After bowling India out for just 117 runs thanks to Mitchell Starc’s devastating bowling, they achieved the required target by 10 wickets without losing any wicket.
Mitchell Starc took 5 wickets in 8 overs and destroyed the Indian batting line, while Sean Abbott took 3 wickets and Nathan Ellis took 2 wickets to restrict India to 117.
Rohit Sharma 13, Virat Kohli 31 and Axar Patel played scored 29 runs. 4 Indian batsmen were out for zero.
In pursuit of the target, the Kangaroos batsmen took an aggressive approach and sealed the match in just 11 overs. Mitchell Marsh played an unbeaten innings of 66 and Travis Head played an unbeaten innings of 51 runs.
