Bomb threat at Delhi airport: The GMR call centre received an alarm regarding a bomb on a Vistara flight from Delhi to Pune on Friday, according to news agency ANI.

“We confirm that flight UK971 from Delhi to Pune on August 18, 2023, has been delayed due to mandatory security checks.” “We have been working with the appropriate security agencies on this,” a Vistara representative said in a statement.

“In the meantime,” the representative added, “we are making every effort to minimize inconvenience to our customers, including offering them refreshments.”

Following that, the aircraft is being inspected in the Delhi airport’s isolation bay. All passengers and luggage have been safely removed off the plane.

The bomb threat was received at 7:30 a.m., while boarding was taking place.
