Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann meet Uddhav Thackeray, son in Mumbai

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann called on former Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray at his Mumbai residence this evening. Thackeray’s son, Aaditya, was also present.After the meeting, Uddhav Thackeray and Arvind Kejriwal jointly addressed the media.

“When the coronavirus pandemic was at its peak, the way Uddhav ji controlled it in Maharashtra was commendable. Today we discussed the way the central government is mortgaging the country to save the capitalists,” Kejriwal said, adding, “The country will progress only when we learn something from each other.”

Speaking about the mayoral election in Delhi, the chief minister said: “The people of Delhi have given us a chance. The BJP has put hurdles in the mayoral election.”

The Delhi and Punjab chief ministers were accompanied by party colleagues Sanjay Sharma and Raghav Chadha.
