The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today convened a meeting of officers at mini-secretariat here to review the arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of ‘My Town My Pride’ programme in all four Municipal Committees of the district.
At the outset, the DC reviewed the preparatory measures being made by different line departments.
It was informed that Melas will be organised where each department will put up a stall to spread awareness among people regarding various welfare schemes and also for on the spot redress of their grievances.
Visiting Officers shall also visit these areas and take appraisal of grievances, besides taking stock of developmental scenarios of these areas.
The DC asked the senior officers to work in synergy for smooth conduct of the programme.
Nodal Officer and Liaison Officers were nominated to ensure proper coordination and smooth conduct of the programme.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, ACR, CPO, CMO and other officer.
