An army soldier drowned while taking bath in Magar Khad nullah near his native village Barwal in Kathua district.
Officials said, “Mishap occurred on Wednesday. The body of the army soldier, identified as Kalki Sharma, 24, was fished out by the rescue team, comprising police and State Disaster Response Force.”
The soldier was posted in Srinagar and was presently on leave.
