An army jawan serving in Kassalian area of J&K’s Poonch district passed away, while another suffered wounds in a road mishap yesterday evening.
As per sources, the incident took place when an army water tanker being driven by Pritam Singh fell in a gorge at Chira Wala Morh, Kassalian in Poonch at dusk .
After the mishap, the injured soldiers were taken to army hospital where the tanker operator succumbed to injuries.
The deceased jawan was identified as Pritam Singh.
