Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian vehemently refutes a report claiming Aga Hasan joining any political party, calls it mischievous, fabricated

Jammu Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian has strongly refuted a news report that the party patron and senior Hurriyat leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi has decided to join Jammu Kashmir Apni Party led by Syed Altaf Bukhari.

Pertinently, a national newspaper in one of its reports claimed that J&K Apni Party is in talks with Hurriyat leaders to join the mainstream party.

Jammu Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian spokesperson Aga Syed Muntazir called the report ‘mischievous’ ‘fabricated’ and merely a figment of ‘newspaper’s imagination.

In a statement to the news agency Kashmir News Trust, the spokesperson said that Aga Syed Hasan is a religious head, a political stalwart busy in humanitarian and philanthropic works and his doors remain always open to people but meeting any political leader should not be construed otherwise.

The spokesperson termed the news report baseless and irresponsible aimed at tarnishing the image of the religious leader.

Jammu Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian reiterates that the report about Aga Syed Hasan joining any mainstream political party is only to hurt the sentiments of his followers and “we condemn this roguish report which has been published without seeking our point of view,” the spokesperson added.
