Anantnag: Police Arrest A Terror Associate’s Residential House

In the Anantnag area of Jammu and Kashmir, Police on Thursday seized the belongings of a person suspected of being a terrorist affiliate.

After getting approval from the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, police alleged that Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 was used to execute the two-story home of terror associate Riyaz Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Lohar senzi Gadole.

“The house is linked to FIR No. 109/2023, registered under Sections 307 IPC, 3/4 Explosive Substances Act, and 16, 18, 20, 38, and 39 of the UA(P) Act of Police Station Kokernag”, they said.

“By taking this step, the Anantnag Police are reaffirming their commitment to combating terrorism and dismantling the networks of support that facilitate these evil operations. The goal of the authorities’ targeting terror associates’ assets is to impede their capacity to finance and enable terrorist activities, police continued.
