In a first, a musical concert under the tagline “Amrit Concert” was organised by District Administration Poonch, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), here in the Sports Stadium.
The Concert was open for all and attracted huge gathering of Youngsters and Musicophiles. The event started with the performance of local Artists followed by mesmerizing folk songs presentations by famous singers like Aijaz Bhut, Chaman Lehri and thrilling folk Dances by the Jackson Group.
The event showcased a vibrant array of artistic performances and drew praise from attendees. The festival boasted an impressive line-up of attractions, including enthralling performances of Pahari and Gojri Songs, Qawalis, Dogri Songs and dance.
The Artists and Singers showcased their own exceptional talents, leaving the audience in awe. Their performances were met with enthusiastic appreciation, underscoring the impact of such cultural festivals on nurturing young artists.
The festival was a part of Independence Day celebration aimed to remember the martyrdom of Brave Soldiers for the motherland.
The event saw the presence of dignitaries, including DDC Chairperson Poonch, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, SSP Poonch, DDC/BDC members and others.
Jammu and Kashmir, in the northernmost part of India, holds a diverse cultural fabric.
