The inaugural alumni gathering for the School of Pharmacy was held on December 24, 2022, at Desh Bhagat University in Mandi Gobindgarh. All of the alumni from the classes of 2016, 2017, and 2018 were invited to this program.. The Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh was the chief guest at this event. Pro Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Vice Chancellor Dr. Virinder Singh, Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, and Registrar Ms. Charanjeet Kaur Sohi were present and felicitated by Principal Dr. Puja Gulati. The program started with a lamp-lighting ceremony by all the dignitaries. A beautiful cultural program was also organised for the Alumni Meet 2022. Various entertaining and cultural performances were performed by the students. The students were very excited and full of enthusiasm. The environment was joyful and refreshing. All the guests, faculty, and students had a wonderful time. The students refreshed their old memories.
Honourable Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti addressed the alumni. Honourable Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh stated that it is a matter of tremendous fortune for the institution because all of our students are currently working in high positions in the nation and overseas and are shining a light on their parents’ and university’s names. All alumni were invited to the dais to receive mementos. All the alumni were invited on stage for the distribution of the token of memory. The top students from these batches were awarded with prizes and certificates. The event was ended with a vote of thanks to Principal Dr. Puja Gulati.
