Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday appointed an inquiry officer to conduct an enquiry into allegations levelled against Principal Government Dental College Srinagar.
“Sanction is, hereby, accorded to the appointment of Sh. Hashmat Ali Yatoo (IAS), Administrator, Ass hunociated Hospitals, Government Medical College Srinagar as Inquiry Officer to conduct an enquiry into allegations levelled by Dr. Mohammad Altaf Tantray against Dr. Reyaz Farooq, Principal Government Dental College Srinagar.
“The Inquiry Officer shall submit the report within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of this Government order,” the order reads.
Another enquiry headed by Hashmat Ali Yatoo (IAS) is under process into the matter regarding whether the patients are referred to outside/private hospitals by the doctors of the Department of Cardiology, Government Medical College, Srinagar or otherwise. The Officer has been directed to submit the report within three weeks.
