Akshay Kumar Receives Grand Welcome in Delhi for Film Shoot after Uttarakhand Visit

Actor Akshay Kumar arrived in Delhi for the filming of his movie shortly after he visited Uttarakhand. A video surfaced online, showing Akshay near Jama Masjid, dressed in a dark grey shirt, navy blue pants, and sporting dark sunglasses.

As fans spotted Akshay, they enthusiastically cheered for him, and he reciprocated by waving at the crowd. While walking towards a shop, Akshay greeted the people once again. Later, near his car, he waved at the crowd, and they called out to him. Akshay’s security team accompanied him throughout. The video was shared on Instagram with the caption, “Actor @akshaykumar received a warm welcome from his fans as he arrived at Jama Masjid in Delhi to shoot his upcoming film Shankara.”

On May 28, Akshay visited Jageshwar Dham in Almora, where he offered prayers under tight security. After visiting the Kedarnath Temple, the actor sought blessings at the Jageshwar Temple as well.

Following his visit to Kedarnath Temple, Akshay also met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who presented him with a traditional shawl and memento. During their meeting, they discussed the development of Uttarakhand as a new film industry hub. Akshay also shared his experience of visiting Kedarnath Dham with the Chief Minister and praised the state government’s efforts in providing facilities for the pilgrims at Shri Kedarnath Dham.

Various photos and videos of Akshay during his visit were circulated on social media platforms. Akshay himself posted a picture on Instagram, showing his bare back, with the caption, “Completed an amazing shoot schedule in the incredible Devbhoomi. Love you Uttarakhand. Hope to return soon.”

In addition to his upcoming film “Shankara,” Akshay will also star in the action thriller “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan 2,” alongside Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and Manushi Chhillar. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is scheduled for release on Eid 2024. Furthermore, Akshay will appear in “OMG: Oh My God 2,” featuring Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam, although the official release date for the film is yet to be announced.
