A high-level delegation of the Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) led by its Vice President Advocate G.N. Shaheen offered condolences to DDC Member Muzaffar Ahmad Dar in Tujar Sharief Sopore and Dr. Firdouse Ahmad Bhat in Batargam Kupwara on the demise of their fathers.
Advocate G.N. Shaheen, speaking on the occasion, said, “AIP is a family believing in justice, liberty and brotherhood. On behalf of the entire party, I offer heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Our incarcerated President and MP Baramulla Engineer Rashid from Tihar Jail has also sent his condolence messages to both the families. We share in your sorrow and stand by you during this difficult time.”
Chairman of the Parliamentary Affairs Committee and MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed described the departed individuals as “honorable figures whose contributions to society will always be remembered.” He reaffirmed AIP’s unwavering support to the bereaved families.
AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi highlighted the party’s commitment to standing with the people in moments of joy and sorrow. “Our core value is compassion. We extend our unconditional support and prayers to the families in this time of mourning,” he said.
Those who offered condolences included General Secretary Nazir Ahmad Khan, Chairman Political Affairs Committee Ishtiyaq Qadri, State Secretary Sheikh Ashiq, Provincial President Prince Parvez, Senior Leader and Spokesperson Firdouse Ahmad Baba, Youth President Ajaz Ahmad Khan and AIP Senior Leader and former MLC Yasir Reshi.
Former top bureaucrats and senior leaders of AIP Gazanfar Ali and Nazir Ahmad Mir also offered condolences.
Advocate Shaheen was joined by Assistant Coordinator Syed Aijaz Yousuf, District President Pulwama Altaf Ahmad Bhat, District Coordinator Aijaz Hussain Thakur and District President Baramulla Abdul Qayoom among others.
