Senior AIP Leader and MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad accompanied by DDC Khursheed Ahmad Dar, Former Deputy BDC Chairman Shabir Ahmad Rather, District Office Incharge Prof. Naseer and Senior Leader Ajaz Ahmad Lone, visited Ferozpora, Tangmarg, to console the family of two minors who tragically lost their lives in a fire caused by a traditional heater.
The leaders expressed deep sorrow over the incident and urged the administration to expedite relief and rehabilitation efforts. Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad, speaking on the occasion, said, “This tragedy has shaken us all to the core. Losing two innocent lives is an unimaginable loss and our hearts go out to the grieving family. It is our collective responsibility to ensure they receive the support they need to rebuild their lives and to raise awareness about safety measures to prevent such heartbreaking incidents in the future.”
The AIP delegation emphasized the urgent need for the administration to provide the family with proper shelter, especially in the harsh winter conditions.
