Ahead of Lok Sabha polls, AAP names 4 candidates for Punjab

For the next Lok Sabha elections in 2024, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled a list of four Punjabi candidates on Tuesday. Along with three other candidates, the AAP fielded Ashok Parashar, the current MLA for the Ludhiana seat.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar is set to contest from Ferozpur, Amansher Singh (Shery Kalsi) from Gurdaspur, Pawan Kumar Tinu from Jalandhar and Ashok Parashar Pappi from Ludhiana.

With this announcement, the AAP has declared candidates on all 13 parliamentary seats in Punjab.

The Lok Sabha polls in Punjab will be held in a single phase on June 1 for 13 seats. Of the 13 seats, four are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and the remaining nine for unreserved.
