IPL 2023:  Former BCCI President and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has hailed Suryakumar Yadav as the best T20 player in the world after match-winning knock for MI against RCB on Tuesday.

Suryakumar had a rather slow start to the IPL 2023 campaign but has been in top form overthe last few games. In the last five matches, the 32-year-old has scored three fifties, with all of them coming in big chases for the five-time IPL Champions. In 11 matches, the MI batter has now scored 376 runs at an average of 34.18 and a phenomenal strike-rate of 186.14.

On Tuesday, Suryakumar once again showed his class against RCB. The 32-year-old came in at a time when MI had lost the wickets of both Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan in the same over.

Suryakumar stitched together a match-winning partnership with Nehal Wadhera and also notched up his highest IPL score of 83 from just 35 balls to help MI cruise to victory at the end by chasing down 200 with 21 balls and six wickets to spare.

The 32-year-old has been receiving heavy praise for his stunning knock, with Ganguly being the latest. The former BCCI president took to Twitter and hailed Suryakumar as the best T20 player in the world and said it seems like the MI star is batting on a computer.
