ADDC Bandipora chairs meeting to discuss damage caused by Natural Calamities

The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Ali Afsar Khan on Monday chaired a meeting of concerned officers to discuss the instances of damage caused to private property and livestock by natural calamities.

During the meeting, a comprehensive review of the damages caused by natural calamities, such as fire, earthquakes etc. were undertaken.

The meeting discussed threadbare various issues including identifying the affected areas and evaluating the extent of the losses. It also emphasized the need for swift action to provide relief and assistance to affected.

After discussion on various cases presented, the committee approved four cases for immediate relief measures.

ADDC said that the approved relief measures will aid in restoring and compensating for the damages suffered by the affected individuals, helping them rebuild their lives and livelihoods.

He said the District Administration Bandipora is committed towards welfare and well-being of the public.

Khan said, through collaborative efforts and proactive measures, the District Administration aims to address the challenges posed by natural calamities and extend a helping hand to those affected by such unfortunate events.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Umar Shafi Pandit; Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) and other concerned officers.
