Accident in Beleshwar Mahadev Temple of Madhya Pradesh, roof of Temple caved down

A big accident has happened in Indore of Madhya Pradesh.

On the occasion of Ram Navami, the step well of Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal temple in Patel Nagar caved in, in which 25 people fell. Rescue work is going on at the spot.

More than 25 people fell into the stepwell after the roof of the Temple caved in at Shri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple in Patel Nagar Madhya Pradesh. Efforts are being made to save the people who fell in the stepwell. Some people have been taken out.

This has created panic in the area. Due to the narrow corridor, there is a problem in relief and rescue work. The relatives of those who fell are in disarray.

As soon as the information was received, the administration team including Police Commissioner, Collector and Corporation Commissioner has reached the spot.

Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava has also reached the spot by leaving the meeting. It is being told that after a long time after the incident, the fire brigade and ambulance reached here.

At present, the work of rescuing the injured is going on. It is being told that Havan was going on in the temple, due to which people were sitting on the balcony. During this the ground above caved in and this accident happened.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took cognizance of the incident of devotees being trapped in the stepwell located at Beleshwar Mahadev Temple in Indore.

The CM has given instructions to speed up the rescue operation after discussing with the Indore collector and Indore commissioner over the phone.

The Chief Minister’s Office is in constant touch with the Indore district administration. Top officers of Indore Police, top officers of the district administration are present at the spot. Continuous efforts are being made to evacuate the devotees. Some people have been rescued from the stepwell till now.
