SRINAGAR, 10 Jan 2025: On Wednesday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted comprehensive raids at six locations in the districts of Srinagar and Pulwama in relation to a case involving senior officials of Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) and disproportionate assets.
According to sources, Zahoor Ahmad, the Smart City project’s executive engineer and chief financial advisor, was the target of the raids.
“As part of an investigation into allegations of financial irregularities and the accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income, searches were conducted at multiple residences, including in the Takanwari and Shalteng areas,” they said.
More information is awaited. The raids were in progress when the last reports were received.
