Absconder arrested in Tikri

Continuing its drive against underground criminals & abconders, Udhampur Police apprehended one more absconder, who was evading arrest since 09.06.2023.

Police team of PP Tikri headed by Insp. Nishad Ahmed SHO PS Rehambal and assisted by PSI Sahil Chib under the supervision of Addl. SP Udhampur Sh. Baljit Singh and DySP Hqrs. Sh. Prehlad Kumar raided the suspected locations and arrested an absconder namely Jamat Ali S/O Mohd. Hussain R/O R.S Pura, Jammu who had been absconding arrest since 09.06.2023. The absconder was involved in case FIR No. 80/2020 U/S 188 of Police Station Rehambal and has been arrested by Police party of Police Post Tikri from R.S Pura

On April 4, Police arrested an absconder who was evading arrest for the past over two decades in sub district of Awantipora.

The accused was identified as Reyaz Ahmad Alaie a resident of Awantipora and presently staying at Mehjoor Nagar in Srinagar.

The warrant under section 512 CrPC issued by the Court of Principal Session Judge Pulwama was executed by the Police against the accused who was evading arrest for the past 21 years.

Recently, Jammu and Kashmir Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district arrested five absconders who were evading their arrests from three decades.

Warrant of  arrest was issued by the Court of Sub Judge JMIC Tangmarg and Boniyar against them. They were evading their arrests since 1988, 1997 and 2009 respectively. All were produced before the Hon’ble Court of JMIC Tangmarg and Boniyar,” the police said.

On April 1, J&K Police nabbed two absconders who were evading their arrest since many years in Kulgam district.

The arrested were identified as Mohammad Rafiq Dar a resident of Ladgoo Rambhama and Mohammad Yousuf Wagay of Harpora Nagam.
