Aadhaar seeding of beneficiaries of different welfare schemes was today reviewed by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal here at a meeting of officers of the concerned departments.
During the meeting, the DC took a detailed review of the Aadhaar generations and seeding of accounts of beneficiaries covered under National Social Assistance program (NSAP), ISSS, ICDS beneficiaries, MGNREGA etc.
Reviewing the Department wise progress, the meeting was informed that DIC and KVIB have achieved 100 percent aadhaar seeding, while the ICDS Department has completed 97 percent Adhar seeding.
It was also informed that 87 percent aadhaar seeding has been achieved under MGNREGA. Progress under Aadhaar seeding of the Pension cases was also discussed in the meeting.
The DC emphasized on universal coverage under Aadhaar generation and aadhaar seeding in the district. He said linkage of the bank accounts of all the beneficiaries with their Aadhar number is imperative for the effective and transparent implementation of the schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officers to put in place requisite machinery and manpower to achieve 100% Aadhaar seeding and enrollment.
The School Education department was directed to organize special camps in government and private schools for enrollment under Aadhaar.
