Last night, tragedy struck in the Charar-e-Sharif area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district when a hill collapsed, resulting in the death of a 27-year-old man named Ishfaq Ahmad Khatana. According to a report from news agency Kashmir Scroll, Ishfaq Ahmad Khatana, son of Shabir Ahmad and a resident of Bajpathri Watakullo, was buried under a large mound of soil due to the collapse. The incident was confirmed by an official source, highlighting the sudden and devastating nature of the hill collapse that led to this unfortunate loss of life.
