Under the joint auspices of the Central Hindi Directorate, New Delhi and the Department of Hindi and other Indian languages, a five-day Hindi creative writers’ workshop was inaugurated at the Central University of Jammu on Monday. This workshop will continue till 16th February.
The inauguration ceremony of the workshop, organized under the coordination of Professor Bharat Bhushan, Head of the Hindi Department, and the guidance of University Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, was chaired by the Registrar of the University Prof. Yashwant Singh.
As a special guest at the inauguration ceremony, Professor Sunil Baburav Kulkarni, Director of the Central Hindi Directorate, New Delhi, said that the Central Hindi Directorate, New Delhi has always been striving for the promotion of Hindi in non-Hindi speaking areas.
