A delegation of Sarpanches, panches, and Nambardar from Turtuk Yul and Farol villages called on the Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson yesterday. EC Minority Affairs, and the elected Councillor from Turtuk, Ghulam Mehdi was present during the meeting.
The delegation expressed their gratitude to the chairman for carrying out various developmental work in their village. They also informed that they are very satisfied with the ongoing developmental work in their area after the formation of Union Territory and requested for the same pace of developmental work to happen in future as well.
On behalf of the people of Turtuk Village, they also expressed their gratitude to the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah for the formation of High-Powered Committee to discuss issues concerning Ladakh.
Besides, the delegation also discussed various other issues with the Chairman to which CEC Gyalson assured them to address their grievances at the earliest possible.
