Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad in a press conference spelled out what was discussed in the national executive meeting on Monday. At the meeting, BJP chief JP Nadda outlined that the party has to fight nine Assembly elections this year and that it should not even lose one of these.
“BJP president said 2023 is very important. We have to fight and win nine state elections this year and then general elections in 2024,” Ravi Shankar Prasad said. The prime minister had said that we have to strengthen booths where we are weak. 72,000 such booths had been identified earlier. Today, the BJP president said that 1.30 lakh booths had in fact been strengthened,” he added.
