Ladakh Union Territory is all set to host the inaugural segment of the 4th Edition of the Khelo India Winter Games, a momentous event in the sporting calendar, from February 2 to 6 in Leh. This marks the first time Ladakh has been chosen as a venue for this prestigious winter sports competition, showcasing the region’s potential and commitment to promoting winter sports.
Following this, the second part of the Khelo India Winter Games is scheduled to take place from February 21 to 25 in the picturesque destinations of Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, adding to the grandeur of the event. The thrilling icy adventures of the Khelo India Winter Games are set to unfold from February 2 to 6, across various locations in Leh.
The event is expected to be inaugurated by Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur, with the presence of Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Nisith Pramanik during the opening ceremony in Leh on February 2nd. Secretary Youth Services and Sports Department Ladakh Ravinder Kumar Dangi told Greater Kashmir that it is a matter of privilege and happiness that Ladakh for the first time will host the 4th Edition of the Khelo India Winter Games.
