Averting a major terrorist attack in J&K the Security forces on Thursday recovered 3kg IED in J&K’s Hiranagar sector in Kathua district along the LoC.
As per report, the alert BSF troops late in the night shot down a drone and recovered an IED packet weighing 3kg from a sugarcane field in Manyari post along the LoC in Hiranagar area of Kathua district.
After the discovery of the explosive IED, the IG BSF, DIG Jammu, SSP Kathua, SDPO Border, SHO of Rajbagh police station reached at the site for further proceedings.
However, no official word of confirmation has been issued yet about the discovery of explosives.
